Snoop

Recently I had the opportunity to visit the amazing studio of one of my more favorite artists, Elizabeth Perkins. As soon I got my sneaky little foot in the door I fell in love with her space. It is so inviting and cozy. Her workspace to die for, in a technical utilitarian sort of way. Also she has such a collection of colorful and meaningful objects surrounding the space, I could have stayed and played all day.
Here are some delicious images of her work, materials, and shrine.

We used some of these babies to spruce up our new winter window. Funktion's line of aprons, oven mitts, and dish towels brighten up any kitchen and make cooking fun again. They also have matching mother-daughter sets for all those "Mommies" out there!

Gerard Yosca is Here

We love everything they create, but these are a couple of our favorites from Gerard Yosca. The strands are great alone or layered with other colors for any occasion. Dress them up or down! Prices range from $20 - $200.

New Window Display

Just in time for the opening of (my boyfriend) Spike Jonze's Where the Wild Things Are, we have a new window display fit for Wild Things. Here's a couple of shots of the installation process, along with a video Katie took - just for kicks.

Lynn Robbins

What a cute surprise! Lynn Robbins of Rag Tag Designs designed dolls for both Katie and myself. The outfits are based on the ones we were wearing last First Friday. Lynn can create custom dolls for you too! Call for inquiries (804)644-5450.

Kristi Tororitis

Thanks to our firecracker intern Nitza, Kristi Tororitis' awesome bangles made of old skateboard decks are now available at Quirk. They are all different and 100% recycled. Each bangle is only $14 so you can easily have enough to stack!

NY Times Here We Come!

We have had so many friends calling and emailing to tell us that we were mentioned in the NY Times Travel Guide for Richmond as a notable place to visit. We are so excited to be on such an important publication's radar. Check out the full article which mentions so many other great Richmond spots.
