Pam Reynolds

Thought you might enjoy a shot of one of our favorite friends, Pam Reynolds, in all of her floral glory. She was recently featured as #31 on the list of Style Magazine's "2009 Power List." We love all that Pam does for Richmond and have a suspicion that her felt collar (oh, from Quirk?) has helped add to her superhero status.

Cutest Blog shout-out!

We got this awesome mention on our favorite Mommy blog. Thanks Baby Vake and Alison. Better get those thumbs working!

How much fun would this be?

Maggie Smith is teaching a crafting class at Quirk Gallery this weekend- how fun would this be???

This was Vake's reaction when I told him he had to know how to use his thumbs before he could go and take Maggie's class...

Critter Time

It is time for another art adventure at Quirk!
Maggie is teaching a workshop for kids ages 5 to 12. The idea is to create a friend out of clay. We are gonna squish, pinch, pull, and tug on a lump of clay until we have found a creature. At the second session of the workshop (after the critters come out of the kiln) we will use recycled materials to create a habitat for our new friends. This is a two day workshop taking place on Monday August 10th and Monday August 17th from 10 am to 12pm. There is only space for 6 kids so give Maggie a call or email to sign up. $35 each child. All materials and a snack included. Quirk 804-644-5450

Quirk Represents

Quirk Represents artist Jennaca Davies' pendants are at the top of the list today. They are light (made of paper and guitar wires!) and perfect for the summer heat. They are so beautiful they just might take your mind off this July humidity!
