Peculiar Pets

These sweet Peculiar Pets are made by North Carolina artist Michelle Lyon. They are crafted from  repurposed vintage textiles.  All creatures are made of either cotton or wool. The bodies are all sewn on a sewing machine, and all embellishments are hand-sewn. These pets are machine-washable, so they are suitable for children, (but ph balanced for adults).

Jamie Pocklington

We love the new squirrels we just got in by (super) local artist Jamie Pocklington. It's great having such talent in Midtown!
Check out his work here

Birthday recap

If you didn't already know, we take birthdays pretty seriously around here.

These are just a few snapshots from our big party...

A special thanks to Hayley for providing the most delicious home made scones and fresh cream.
Taylor tried to escape, but her tower of 40 diet coke cans had to be on the record.

SNAG goodies

I (... pardon the pun) snagged a few badges that Katie and Hayley brought back from the conference this past week.

The ones I could find are labeled - if you see one without a name, feel free to let us know!

Office space

We are always on the lookout for the perfect way to organize around here... In our searches, we have found what we believe to be the cutest file holders ever. Not only are they cute, but they are magnetic, so it's easy to jazz up that boring file cabinet. And for all those loose business cards and notes cluttering up your workspace, this "card bar" by blue oculous is the perfect solution. So slick.
