Finders Keepers

Oh and one more thing... if you leave your potty training book on my desk, I'm keeping it!

Looks like it's time to put a password on the old computer... Intruders have been up to no good!

So we just got back from a fabulous photo shoot for the Quirk/Juicy Couture collaboration. We stayed in our favorite Italian Villa, and just had a great time. Here's a sneak peak at our Spring line of tracksuits for quirk. What do you think of those colors?

Such a Hit

Because we got such a good response (and well... just because we love these little bags) here's a little eye candy from our gal Ali Dryer of Pistol-stitched Designs.
(both bags available $90.00)

. The artwork was a collaboration between two D.C.-based artists, Nilay Lawson and Marissa Long.

My Punny Valentine

Nobody loves Valentine's Day more than us. We are pretty excited about our "My Punny Valentine" cards. Each set of cards comes with five different valentines (3 of each).

New in our Shop

Liza has been working feverishly getting all kinds of new work on our online shopping cart.
Here are a couple examples of her hard work:

Cleaning House

Couldn't we all use a little tidying after the holidays? Well... we DEFINITELY needed some sprucing up. I feel safe saying we made a huge dent in the "clearing out" department.

...and yes, that is a mannequin all over our office.

Reynold Vake

Our dear friend Alison was a bit put out that we failed to mention her in our "name dropping" of yesterday's phone calls.
In lieu of a photo of her caller ID, how about a cute picture of her BEAUTIFUL baby boy from his "Eleven Monthiversarry" photo shoot?

Off The Hook

The phones have been ringing off the hook today... we were dying to share some of those exciting callers with all of you, our dearest internet friends.
First up: Martha Stewart Living
Harper Collins (guess who)
And last but not least: The Richmond Flying Squirrels!
(And by the way, yes... those are our brand new phones... thanks for noticing!)

Susan Fields

Check out the custom necklace created by Susan Fields for one of our favorite fashionistas, Pam Reynolds. Can't wait to see Pam out sporting this hand beaded beauty!

Girly Girly

Feeling a little extra girly today... I think this is why.

We just received overnight bags (above $180) from Ali Dryer (aka Pistolstitched).
These bags are amazing! The perfect size for a quick trip.
Ali offers a wide variety of styles, fabrics and buttons. Check out her designs on etsy or come in and see them for yourself.

Tyler Payne

The 2010 Vault Project kicks off with intriguing work by one of our favorite local artists and barista, Tyler Payne. Payne's work elicits a sense of emotion and motion. The cross hatchings and frantic lines both invite you in and push you out. This show runs from 01/08 - 01/30

Opening reception: January 07: 5pm - 7pm

First Friday Reception: January 8: 7pm - 10pm

Monday, January 4, 2010

It's installation time! Three great shows coming up for this First Friday opening.

Main Gallery:
1/8 - 2/27
Ann Bradshaw: "Sane Enough"
The work of Ann Bradshaw is anything but simplistic. Her collection of works pull from her careers as both a psychotherapist and studio artist to explore the paradox and ambiguity inherent in the complex journey of life.
Each piece is suffused with color and a sense of intensity that speaks to the underlying web of emotional circumstances that are at the core of their conception.

Vault Project:
Tyler Payne
1/8 - 1/30

Shop Show:
Laura Pharis
1/8 - 1/30
